FlyBase

        FlyBase collects genetic and molecular information of Drosophila.  It includes data on all species from the family Drosophilidae.  This database is produced by a consortium of researchers funded by the National Institutes of Health, United States of America and the Medical Research Council, London, including both Drosophila biologists and computer scientists.

        Information found in this data base includes the following:

• Information on more than 46,000 mutant alleles of more than 24,500 genes
• Information about the expression and properties of over 6,600transcripts and 3,000 proteins
• Information on the functions of gene products
• Over 14,400 nucleic acid accession numbers linked to genes
• Over 6,200 protein sequence accession numbers
• Information about more than 16,600 natural and engineered transposons and other molecular constructs
• Lists of over 7,000 genomic clones
• Descriptions of over 14,200 chromosomal aberrations
• Descriptions of 14,480 Drosophila stocks held in stock centers and private labs
• A bibliography of over 127,900 Drosophila citations
• An address book of over 6,490 Drosophila researchers
• Drosophila genetic, cytological, and molecular map information
• Berkeley Drosophila Genome Project data

        On the top page of FlyBase are sections, described as "Data Classes", which are links going to comprehensive pages listing all documents, searches and listings relevant to that class of data.  All search tools link gives an overview of types of search options available at FlyBase, and additional options available at Bloomington Stock Center, BDGP, and EDGP.

TMpred(US)

TMpred是一個可以用來預測protein transmembarne region的工具。其使用方法如下：

連上網頁後，在對話框中輸入想要預測的protein sequence，例如，我輸入如下的序列
