DNA protect assay

Principle:

¡@¡@When DNA was exposed to H2O2 and irradiated with UV light, H2O2 will generated to hydroxyl radials, then the supercoiled form of DNA would cleave. The experiment shows the effect of plnt extract for preventing DNA cleavage from the hydroxyl radials.

Meterials & Methods:

¡@¡@10£gl extract herbs, and 1£gl DNA(0.3£gg/each) in 17.2 TE buffer placed at UV light for 30 min. Then added 1.8£gl H2O2(30£gM) and 1 £gl dye. Sucked all solution and run 0.8% agarose gel electrophoresis.
