Flavonoid
glucosidase will influence the effect of antioxidant
|
¡@¡@ Flavonoids have been well recognized to
act as antioxidants by scavenging oxygen radials. But existing flavonoids
mainly exist in the form of glycoside. It is suggested that glucosidase
found in human fecal and salivary cultures and intestinal bacteria can
liberate the sugar moiety from flavonoid glycoside resulting in flavonoid
aglycone. |
