Saccharomyces Genome database

SGD is a scientific database of the molecular biology and genetics

of the yeast Saccharomycescerevisiae, which is commonly

known as baker's or budding yeast.

 

SWISS-PROT is a curated protein sequence database which

strives to provide a high level of annotations (such as the description

of the function of a protein, its domains structure, post-translational

modifications, variants, etc.), a minimal level of redundancy

and high level of integration with other databases.

ex. The Protein Colourer

A tool for colouring your amino acid sequences.

The default settings will colour the sequence by the hydrophobicity

of the amino acids. You can set the colouring scheme by changing

the lists associated with each colour. Another scheme could be

used to colour the amino acids by size.
