    A enzyme data bank is located http://expasy.hcuge.ch/sprot/enzyme.html. The data bank is the repository of information relative to the nomenclature of enzyme. Enzymes are found by EC number, enzyme class, description, chemical compound, cofactor, search in comment lines, and related database. It will show us  not only what characteristic the enzyme is but also that deficiency of this enzyme will prodece human gene disease(s) and cross-reference. The web site will offer other tools that resrach protein that we wanted. Before using this data bank, it is better to see user manual. Let's we take a example.

Enzyme nomenclature database


ENZYME is a repository of information relative to the nomenclature of enzymes. It is primarily based on the recommendations of the Nomenclature Committee of the International Union of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (IUBMB) and it describes each type of characterized enzyme for which an EC (Enzyme Commission) number has been provided (Disclaimer).
